Physical description: Doctor Finch stands about 5 foot 9, dressed in soft black. He walks with the aid of a black cane. It is topped with an ornate silver dragon, and has a coloured piece of cloth dangling from the dragon's tail. The cloth has been silver, blue, and red at various times, in various places, and with various people. Sometimes it is changed over as he moves from one room to another. On his left hand he wears a simple silver ring on the index finger, and on his right hand he wears a silver dragon on the middle finger. He mostly peers over his spectacles, as opposed to using them, and carries a pocket watch inside his jacket.

- In the ongoing political powerstrugle arena otherwise known as Reading, Finch has stood out as a likely candidate for Prince above current rulership.
- Finch is actually only 40 years old as a vampire. Feeding from a lot of drugged out hippies back in the 60's before a long nap he's only just woken up from, it's a wonder he doesn't think he's Roman...
- Finch is actually a Ventrue, masquerading as a Mekhet to hide his powers of dominate which he has used to puppet the Reading political system from within. It's always the quiet one's you've got to look out for, you know...
- Some kindred have wondered about the rather strange absence of the kindred who was introduced as owner of the Ordo Club that Finch and Eruditas now seem to be in charge of. After all, with that private section of the building who knows what might have happened to him 'in the name of science'...
- It's been said by some that Doc Finch borders on the condescending, effete, stuffy old git side of things. Preferring to talk down to those he doesn't think have the same level of education or social standing as he. Such things are often unwise to dabble with in the society of Kindred, where nothing should be assumed. Understand guv?
- He publicly swore an oath of fealty to an Acolyte in front of everyone in the South London court.
- He has been sighted making a lot of shady dealings with known Invictus.

- After the tumultuous events of Reading's Elysium gathering in August 2007, he and Lord Cortez had a private closed session. This session supposedly included an awesome performance of "Be Prepared" from Doctor Finch (as sung by Scar from The Lion King). The rest, as they say, is history. It is unknown whom, if any, took the parts of Shenzi, Banzai and Ed (the Hyenas).
- Finch is reported to have recently organised a "terrorist" attack on a kindred gathering at which he was not present in an attempt to incapacitate or kill those kindred allies of one Lord Cortez.
- Finch is behind the recent spate of attacks by strange creatures on Reading. They are creations that escaped from his lab many years ago, and he's was unable to recapture them before they started breeding.
- Finch is actually a Carthian conducting a social experiment in Reading by marginalising the existing Carthians there, to force the rest of the country to act in some way.
- Finch doesn't really need that cane to walk, but inside it he keeps a rolled up scroll that contains all the data he's collected on various kindred. Data that could topple the thrones of many princes if it ever got out.
- Finch's emotionless façade is just that, a façade. He longs to hold a woman close in his arms and whisper sweet nothings in her ear.
